Twenty innovation startups participated in the contest, supporting NTT's company-wide zero trust journey across the following technology focus areas: attack surface management, identity management, and zero trust platforms/concepts. The judges included Counselor to the NTT Global Chief Information Security Officer John Petrie, NTT Israel Innovation Lab Chief Technology Officer Moshe Karako, and NTT Ltd Group Vice President of New Ventures and Innovation Warren Small.

“As the one of the largest technology companies in the world, NTT Group and its companies’ CISOs are responsible to society,” said John Petrie, Counselor to the NTT Global Chief Information Security Officer. “To protect our people, our processes, our assets, and certainly the data that we are entrusted by our clients, we must continuously invest in the latest technology.”

“We put this Zero Trust Innovation Contest together as part of our ongoing global search for cybersecurity startups, adding to our significant investment in research and development 10 years out,” said Petrie. “We brought together startups to innovate on our leading-edge capabilities and integrate those into our solutions. We believe working with startups is critical to staying on the cutting edge of security.”
